Baker
Denver’s Baker neighborhood is located just a mile south of downtown. One of the Denver’s most up -and-coming neighborhoods, Baker is located in the heart of the trendy art district. It borders 6th Ave to the north, Mississippi Ave. to the south, South Platte River to the west, and Broadway to the east.
With its turn of the century architecture, Baker homes are an eclectic mix of sizes and architectural styles that will suit a diverse group of homeowners.

Capitol Hill
Capitol Hill, a large Denver neighborhood located just a mile east of downtown Denver, encompasses both the Uptown neighborhood and the Cheesman Park neighborhood. Bordered by 18th Ave to the North, down to 6th Ave. to the south, and Broadway to the west over to University Blvd to the east. Capitol Hill is a diverse area, offering larger two-story Denver Squares and Victorians – many of these homes have been broken into separate condos.
Capitol Hill’s central proximity to the Denver area’s many recreational opportunities, allow for great bike rides.

City Park
City Park is about 2 miles northeast of downtown. The neighborhood is bordered by Martin Luther King Blvd. to the north, down to 18th Ave. to the south and Downing St. to the west, over to Colorado to the east. City Park is considered an up and coming area with a great mix of turn of the century Bungalows and Denver Squares. Just head north on Gaylord St. from 18th Ave. and you will find a parade of Denver Squares like no where else in the city.

Congress Park
Congress Park is a highly coveted area that sits just to the north of the popular Cherry Creek mall. It is bordered by Colfax Ave. (15th Ave.) to the north, down to 6th Ave and from University Blvd. to the west, over to Colorado Blvd. to the east. Congress Park has beautiful 1 story bungalows on quiet family blocks with many out working in their yards or out for a walk. With the slightly higher price point, Congress Park can be tougher to get into, but don’t miss the chance to at least drive down 7th Blvd. from Franklin to Colorado.

Highlands
The Highlands have turned into Denver’s real estate hot spot! The neighborhood is bordered by 38th Ave. to the north, down to Colfax to the south and from Sheridan Blvd. to the west, over to Pecos St. to the east. Most consider it to encompass the Sloan’s Lake neighborhood as well as the original Potter Highlands but the true center of this hip locale is the popular Highlands Square at 32nd Ave. and Lowell Blvd. The Square offers some of Denver’s trendiest shops, restaurants and pubs.

Mayfair
Mayfair is a quiet neighborhood with considerably wider street than the older neighborhoods of Denver as Mayfair was built a little later, starting in the 1920′s and probably considered at one time to be our first suburbs. Mayfair is bordered by Colfax Ave (15th Ave) to the north, down to 6th Ave. to the south and from Colorado Blvd. to the west, over to Quebec St. to the east. With the larger lots and more finished/deeper basements, Mayfair offers much easier living than some of the older areas. The classic Tudor style dominates in this area and most of the homes will have 2 plus baths which is an additional upgrade from the older areas.

Park Hill
Parkhill, like Mayfair, is slightly newer than the homes to the west of Colorado. It is bordered Martin Luther King Blvd to the north, down to Colfax Ave (15th Ave) to the south and from Colorado Blvd to the west, over to Quebec to the east. Parkhill has more two stories mixed into the 1 story Tudor architecture as well as a very strong community feel and character. There are some great neighborhood restaurants which belong to Parkhill that you shouldn’t miss.

Platte Park
Platte Park is the perfect commuter neighborhood with outstanding access to light rail and major interstates. Platte Park is bordered by Mississippi Ave. to the north, down to Evans Ave. to the south and from Broadway Blvd. to the west, over to Downing St to the east. Platte Park was established back in 1882, but most of the homes were not developed until at least the 1920′s. Now the area has the popular “South Pearl” shops and restaurants along with the attractions that come with being close to DU University.

Washington Park
Wash Park is one of the most sought-after areas in the Denver area. Wash Park is bordered by Alameda to the north, down to Louisiana to the south and from Broadway to the west, over to University Blvd. to the east. The Park itself is always full of life with all kinds of recreation and gorgeous landscape. The homes include a mix of new and old as many homes have additions or have been completely rebuilt due to the high price of land. Be sure to check out the unique shops and restaurants of S. Gaylord.

Whittier is bordered by Martin Luther King Blvd. to the north, down to 23rd Ave. to the south and from Downing St. to the west, over to York St. to the east. The diverse area includes some of Denver’s most historic architecture and style with many old corner mansions and converted carriage homes. The area has gained popularity as of late due to the affordability of the historic homes and close proximity to downtown.
