Denver Among Best Cities for College Grads
FindMyHomeDenver was pleased to find Denver eighth on the list of Bloomberg Businessweek’s recent ranking of the country’s “best cities for new grads.”
The report ranks 30 cities on several factors for recent grads, including the number of entry-level employers, the cost of living, and its unemployment rate. The Denver employment market is anchored by many companies in a variety of industries, including banking, aerospace, telecommunications, and the medical field. Colorado’s unemployment rate has remained steady at around eight percent throughout the recession, which has also helped recent college grads find employment.
Denver is a great place for young professionals to live. It boasts a vibrant nightlife, a plethora of recreational and cultural opportunities, 300+ days of sunshine every year, and panoramic mountain views. It also offers a lower cost of living than cities on the east and west coast. It is simply a great place to live.
